Relationship Reflection

Relationship Reflection

There are many different types of relationships that a person can have. I feel that every relationship that is built depends on the person and the actions that are taking place. Relationships are central to a person’s successful life. If you accomplish all your material goals but you do not attend carefully to your relationships, you will end up empty, alone and miserable. But if you have wonderful relationships with people who care about you, and whom you care about, then no matter what happens in the outside world, you will still be happy.

I have many different relationships. The most important relationship that I have is with my own family. I have all the support that I need in everything that I do. All of my accomplishments are the result of the continued support that I get from my husband and children.

I have a work relationship with a couple of my coworkers that help me through my career. I look at them as mentors. We work together to build each other up and share our experience and ideas on how to help the development of you children.

At times it can be hard when trying to develop relationships, because everyone incorporated in the relationship has to have a sense of trust and must feel that their morals and values are being viewed just as important as everyone else’s.

With every person that I meet in the early childhood education field, I strive to communicate my passion for the children and show that I am willing to put my biases aside to come up with the best developmental plan for all of our young children. If we all work together and network with our ideas, we would be able to do great things in the early childhood education field.

  1. Alicia,

I agree that there are many different types of relationships in a person's life. And each relationship depends on the person and the actions. It is true that relationships are central to success despite the material goals that can be accomplished. I believe as you do that caring relationships promotes happiness instead of loneliness, emptiness, and misery. I have many different relationships as well and the most important relationship is with my own family.

  2. Alacia,

Nothing is a like a great relationship with family. Having a family relationship you can turn to them for almost anything that you need. I adore my family and wouldn't change anything about them because they are there when I need them the most.

  3. Hi Alacia,
I believe that in order for any relationship to work you have to be committed to making them work. I agree that family is one of the best relationships that a person can have and it is a good idea to have close family ties, because; there is nothing like having close family relationship and by that I mean the family you are born with, marry into, and the ones that become your family through close friendship. It is always a good idea to have mentors at work because when you are building a career you have someone to rely on and to get advise from (good advise).

  5. Dear Alacia,
you have a wonderful family. They look very happy. That is what life is for. Family is the most important of all! we do a lot of things for the family. The relationship is automatically there. It is not only love, caring, sharing and passion. With this, i think about the Malaysian airline situation. It was so sad to see those families. I could imagine their worries, their anxiety and unsettled. It is really killing them. The problem is the unknown and wondering what is going on and where their family is. Let us pray for them! hope everything can be sorted out soon for them! Tks
    stella
